Scope city was established to address the pressing need of the Paelon family in ensuring safe, reliable, efficient and comfortable non-invasive and invasive screening, diagnosis and treatment of intestinal pathologies.

Our non-invasive procedure is a capsule endoscopy (pill cam) which is a powerful diagnostic tool used to record internal images of the gastrointestinal tract and identify inflammation, ulcer, tumors, occult bleeding in the small intestine etc. All it entails, is 2 day bowel preparation and swallowing a pill.

Our invasive procedure is an OGD (Oesphago-Gastro-Duodenoscopy) which is the gold standard test for the investigation of UGI (Upper Gastrointestinal) symptoms, the other is a Colonoscopy.

It is an examination of your large bowel (colon) and both allow direct mucosal visualisation, biopsy and if necessary therapeutic intervention.

These procedures will be performed by a trained endoscopist and will make them as comfortable as possible.

Our health assessment department is dedicated to health surveillance, recognizing that early detection is key to survival.

It provides clients with an overview of their current health status, identifying any current or future health risks and offering relevant intervention in a timely fashion.
