Pa<\/span>tricia\u00a0El<\/span>ozie\u00a0On<\/span>yia was born on May 25, 1994, with the Charge Syndrome in Lagos, Nigeria. She was my 3rd and last child. Despite her multiple major physical challenges, she was a\u00a0bright<\/span>,\u00a0cheerful<\/span>,\u00a0positive<\/span>,\u00a0loving<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0confident<\/span>\u00a0child. For her, the glass was never half empty, it was always half full. She played the hand fate had dealt her with\u00a0dexterity<\/span>, and\u00a0won every time<\/span>.<\/span><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
In April 2002, she went to the Dominican Grimley School for the deaf when mainstream education in Lagos, Nigeria became too challenging. She died in her sleep of complications from the 3rd of five major surgeries she had in her short life on November 11, 2003. Patricia\u2019s\u00a0birth<\/span>\u00a0is the\u00a0milestone<\/span>\u00a0in my life by which I\u00a0reference<\/span>\u00a0all other\u00a0events<\/span>.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

God first of all made me a Paediatrician, and then He gave me Patricia!!<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
